In November of 2011, Butler along with Estella Warren started filming the thriller based on psychological research The Stranger Within in Mallorca in Spain. The film was originally planned to be shot in Copenhagen Denmark, New York City as well. Butler appeared involved in The Demented (2013), which was directed by Michael Welch with Kayla and Michael Welch.
