Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born 13 May 2016. Silk is famous for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. In 2009 she landed the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale. She announced the news to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that the show would return for a fourth season of its production. Fourth season premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN recognized Bo's performance along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple in 2013.
